The precinct with a swing

“Crying out Love in the Center of the World” is a very popular movie that was first  shown in 2005. It’s usually called “Sekachu” in Japanese. Isao Yukisada directed it based on a best-selling novel by Kyoichi Katayama. Masami Nagasawa played the role of a high school girl who suffered from a serious illness. She instantly became  popular with this movie.

There is a place where Aki and Saku often enjoyed going on a date in the movie. Even now, lots of young couples or groups go there.

This is located near the swing ,which can be seen above. The quiet sea offers peace of  mind to visitors.

Amahira Photo Studio (Aji kanko-koryukan)

Saku and Aki took their commemorative pictures in wedding clothing at this studio. It was rebuilt in the same style near the place where movie set had been built. In addition, it’s used as a tourist information center  called “Aji kanko-koryukan”. Now, visitors can enjoy drinking coffee or having a light meal there. Pictures and  movie props are also displayed in the building and neighboring exhibition hall.

Yumeshima (Inagi island)

Aki and Saku once enjoyed their times in the island. Some of their  friends took them there by  boat. Aki’s condition turned bad after that.
